Thats why we created Fireside. Fireside is a smart system for your home that makes your photos and videos part of everyday life. Like Pandora, but for your memories.
Curating your thousands of photos so you can enjoy them is hard. Today, this takes hours of organizing, printing, framing. Its expensive, time consuming, and hard to update.
By contrast, Fireside does the hard work for you. Its smart, so it automatically shows you photos you actually want to see. For example, if its your sons birthday, Fireside shows some photos of his past birthdays. If its your anniversary, Fireside will show you video from your wedding and honeymoon. Is it winter? Fireside can show you skiing and holiday photos.
Its like looking at your photos through a whole new lens.
How does Fireside work?
We intelligently index the photos and videos you keep in the cloud and then continuously creates a series of smart, streaming, contextually relevant, "channels" you can enjoy anywhere or share easily with those you care about most.
Just take photos or videos like you normally would. Shortly after your photos and videos arrive in your Google Photos or Dropbox account we will analyze them and begin playing them in your channels. For pictures taken on your phone, we recommend setting up the Google Photos or Dropbox Carousel mobile app to automatically back up items so the entire process is completely effortless.
Like art or music, Fireside creates an atmosphere in your home. It gives you a place to gather and share great memories. Its a private channel for family photos, shared with those you care about the most.
